The Hunt Series started out from an urge to adventure and youthful fun by brothers James and Dylan Nord who started the Deux North movement. In search of the freedom and thrill they knew growing up, but had lost as adults, the ventured out in the form of the Hunts. Stories about discovering new roads, getting lost and taking changes. Chasing the Ghost is a film made by Craig Bingham with the purpose to inspire. And it does just that. You do not need to be a cyclist to find inspiration in this wonderfully crafted film. The film is the story of two teams (USA and GB), two fierce rivals that come together forming “Allied Forces” to take on the challenge of cycling 3000 miles across America in less than 5days 5hours 5mins to set a new world record. With the goal to use the record and show their adventure as a platform to raise awareness and funding for Help for Heroes and Woundered Warriors. Sit back and enjoy! The project photography by Craig Bingham is also worth a visit.

Last year, on a trip to Rwanda for Rouleur magazine, photographer and filmmaker Ben Ingham followed the chaotic journey of the Tour of Rwanda, a bicycle race that twists and turns on the roads out of Kigali to the corners of the land of a thousand hills. In this short, vibrant film, Ingham captures the abstract rhythms of the race, the strength and determination of the riders, and the frenzy that lines the otherwise quiet roads of rural Rwanda as people throng to greet them, and catch a glimpse of the circus that passes by. #HUNT1 from Deux North on Vimeo. Brothers, James and Dylan Nord grew up together going on adventures, riding their bikes, building forts, and playing pretend. A few decades later they were still riding bikes, racing them now, but had lost the adventure and childish fun of their youth that they couldn’t forget. They decided to create something that would allow them to step outside of their modern adult lives and experience the unabashed freedom and thrill they knew growing up, but had lost as adults. And so Deux North was born as a way to say, “I’m still young.” Deux North’s first story begins with the Summer Hunt Series, ten trips north, to the high peaks of the Catskill and Adirondack Mountains in New York City’s backyard. Every hunt in the series is designed around friendship, adventure, and challenge, and each is told beautifully in film, photo, and word.
