Chasing Western - a ginger runner film

Chasing Western film The 2015 Gorge Waterfalls 100k

Hundreds of ultrarunners gathered on the grass below Multnomah Falls in Oregon to run the Gorge Waterfalls 100k. As part of the 2015 Montrail Ultra Cup Series, The Gorge Waterfalls 100k awards a special prize to the first two men and women that cross the finishline. The film documents the story of what unfolded into a difficult and technical 62 miles of waterfall-filled singletrack.

Lake Sonoma 50 – The first mile

The annual Lake Sonoma 50 miles race is held on the rugged trails at Lake Sonoma. The course is 86% single track and 9% dirt roads, with the first 2.4 miles on a paved country road. This year the event reached its eight edition with a field of killer elites at the starting line. Lake Sonoma is part of the Montrail Ultra Cup Series. The top two men and women finishers will each earn a spot at the 2015 Western States 100. This year’s top two consisted of Alex Varner and Ryan Bak in the men’s group. Stephanie How and Cassie Scallon formed the first two finishing women. Filmer Billy Yang was present to capture the race.
