Trail Dog Salomon Running TV Season 05 Episode 02

According to a group of Japanese researchers dogs and owners experience surges in oxytocin, a hormone responsible for maternal caring, when they look into each other’s eyes. A rush of hormone that helps people bond could explain why humans and dogs have been best friends for thousands of years. An alternative way to bond is by sharing the trails.

Last year Salomon Running organized a free contest called #MyTrailDog. The rules were simple and the prize awesome. Participants would have to tell Salomon why they and their dog should be #MyTrailDog stars and be featured in a SalomonRunningTV episode.

The wait is over. Salomon Running TV takes us to the small village of La Motte-d’Aveillans in the South East of France to meet and film with the winner of the #MyTrailDog competition, Gaëtan Ugnon-Fleury and his dogs, Pépite and Jolyn. Trail Dog is an ode to the beauty and happiness that can be found in the simplest of things – friendship.

A Production by The African Attachment
