The word Klättermusen comes from a children’s book, meaning ‘climbing mouse’. It is also the name of an outdoor company hailing from Åre, a small municipality in northern Sweden. Since 1984 it has been producing gear for outdoor enthusiasts into trekking, climbing of ski-ing.
For the first time Klättermusen will launch a Summer line with the Fjorgyn Anorak as a great looking shell layer being part of this collection. It is an ultra-lightweight, ghostly white waterproof pull-on made from a semi-transparent 2.5-layer fabric weighing in at just 48g/m2. The minimal and mostly feature-less design is based on garment worn by the Swedish natives, Sami.
The Fjorgyn Anorak will be arriving in stores in Spring 2016. Just in time for your Summer trekking and fastpacking.
At this years Outdoor Show at Friedrichshafen, the Fjorgyn Anorak received no less than two awards. The Scandinavian Outdoor Award and the Outdoor Show award.
